Greggs Breakfast Hours 2022: (Opening & Closing Hours)

Waking up and realizing you don’t have time to make breakfast? Greggs has got you covered!

This guide will tell you everything you need to know about Greggs breakfast hours and their respective opening times. Whether it’s your neighbourhood branch or one of the chain’s 1,700 shops across the UK, Greggs has all your breakfast needs covered in every corner of the country.

What is on the menu at Greggs

For those who don’t know, Greggs is a British bakery chain that offers a wide variety of breakfast items. There are the classics like bacon and eggs, sausage and eggs, and egg and cheese on a bagel.

But there are also more unique items like the Egg McMuffin, the Bacon Roll, and the Sausage Croissant. They also offer pastries like the Cinnamon Roll and the Chocolate Croissant if you want something sweet. As with any restaurant, it’s always best to call ahead before visiting if you have specific dietary needs or restrictions.

For example, Greggs does not serve hot drinks or vegan food. What about coffee: With so many coffee shops popping up all over the place, it’s not always necessary to stop at your favourite diner for your morning caffeine fix?

Fortunately, Greggs provides cups of tea or coffee as part of their breakfast menu. You can choose Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso Macchiato, Irish Coffee (regular or decaf), and English Breakfast Tea – however, I would recommend sticking to black tea with black tea milk.

How much does it cost?

If you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful breakfast option, look no further than Greggs. A bacon roll will set you back just £1.55, while a sausage and egg McMuffin will cost you £2.75. For those on the go, there’s also a selection of pastries for under £2. 50 – perfect if you’re running late in the morning!

If you want something with a little more substance, but are still after something on the cheaper side, then Greggs’ omelette and eggs (£3.25) is a perfect choice.

The takeaway menu also offers an array of sandwich options that can be enjoyed at your desk or eaten in-store (depending on where your office is located!).

All sandwiches are priced at £2.20 or less – so what are you waiting for? Get yourself down to Greggs this lunchtime! They’ve got all sorts of tasty treats to offer and plenty of variety too – whether you fancy a sausage and egg McMuffin, bacon roll or omelette and eggs, they’ve got it covered. Have you tried their freshly made sandwich selection yet? They have everything from tuna mayo to cheese toasties – you’ll never need another quick lunch again!

If you’re feeling starving, we recommend one of their mini-sized sandwiches (£1.80), which come in flavours such as bacon and egg or ham and tomato. These babies are great for snacking on when you don’t have time to sit down for a full meal, so give them a try next time you pop into Greggs!

Greggs has now changed its opening hours to suit busy commuters across the UK – meaning they open at 6:00 am on weekdays and 7:00 am on weekends!

Where is Greggs located?

Greggs is a chain of bakeries with locations all over the United Kingdom. While they are most commonly found in high footfall areas such as shopping centres and near transport hubs, smaller branches can also be found in more residential areas.

You can use their store locator tool on their website to find your nearest branch. They also have a mobile app which you can download onto your phone for even easier access. It’s free to download and install so it doesn’t hurt to try!

A long time ago (well, 1985) we opened our first bakery in Gosforth, Newcastle, under Lyme.

Greggs now has 1,650 shops across the UK – from Shetland down to Cornwall! – including almost 600 self-service machines that customers can buy from without needing to speak to a staff member.

These machines accept coins, debit cards or credit cards and dispense both hot drinks and food. There are even two Greggs Bakery London stores where customers can get freshly baked bread at any time of day or night.

Greggs Breakfast Hours

If you’re one of those who can’t function without breakfast, you’re in luck. Greggs opens at 6:00 am Monday-Saturday, and 7:00 am on Sundays. That means you can get your hands on a bacon sandwich before work or a sausage and egg roll to cure your hangover.

Ensure you get there early, as the breakfast menu is only available until 10:30 am. After that, it’s back to toasties and pasties for everyone. For some reason, Greggs’ lunchtime offer is even more limited than its breakfast options.

A cheese and onion pie might sound like heaven after a few hours stuck behind your desk, but they’ll be going home with an empty stomach if they don’t order their lunch before 12pm. Luckily though, their dinner service runs from 5:00 pm-10:00 pm every day so feel free to order some chicken soup if you’ve got any sniffles.

How Can I Make Sure I Don’t Miss Breakfast Time?

Setting the alarm is the best way to ensure you don’t miss breakfast. Make sure your alarm is set for at least 30 minutes before breakfast, so you have time to get up and get ready.

If you can, set your alarm for an hour before breakfast, so you have plenty of time to eat and prepare for the day.

Another way to make sure you don’t miss breakfast time is to go to bed at a reasonable time the night before. Staying up late will only make it harder to wake up in the morning. By going to bed early enough, you can sleep through your alarm if it does happen to go off.

Sleeping longer on weekends isn’t a good idea because your body gets used to sleeping more during those days. If you want to avoid getting up early on the weekends, stay away from caffeine after 2 pm on Friday.
